we, together with school nurses, have placed importance on health education that emphasizes children's own understanding of the relationship between their bodies and the factors that cause health problems, rather than simply teaching the formation of healthy habits. We have also been practically seeking and expanding learning that nurtures children to become the subjects of their own bodies and healthy lifestyles.
<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-->It is important to ask questions that encourage children to think about the relationship between the body, life, and health, using the biological phenomena they experience every day as clues, and then present scientific facts. We found that through this kind of learning, children became aware of the wonderful functions of the body and developed an awareness of the need to lead a healthier life.
Through questions that encourage children's thinking, we want them to think about the workings of living organisms and their mechanisms using their own lives and experiences as clues, and to realize the preciousness of life and health by learning scientific knowledge. We also want to nurture children who wish for and try to realize such a society and world.
