Following the Great East Japan Earthquake (GEJE) in March 2011, we established a long term psychological support program in disaster areas and provided clinical psychological support for victims and their support workers. During the past 7 years, more than 6,000 people have been served, including graduate and undergraduate students, childcare workers, and schoolteachers. Our program consists of psycho-educational workshops and outreach activities. In the psychoeducational program, participants attended supportive group psychotherapy workshops, in which they learn about the psychological impact of the trauma and explore coping strategies. In outreach activities, we gave lectures on the psychology of disaster and support for childcare workers in the coastal areas. Narrative episodes or free comments were collected from participants and analyzed qualitatively. (2011年3月の東日本大震災（GEJE）後、著者らは被災地域における長期的な心理的支援プログラムを設立し、被災者およびその支援者に臨床心理的支援を提供してきた。過去7年間に、大学院生、学部生、保育士、教員など、延べ6,000名以上がこのプログラムに参加している。このプログラムは、心理教育的プログラムとアウトリーチ活動によって構成された。心理教育的プログラムの参加者は、支持的集団精神療法のワークショップに参加することで、心的外傷の及ぼす心理的影響について知り、その対処方略について学んだ。アウトリーチ活動では、沿岸地域において災害心理学や保育支援に関する講演や研修会を行ってきた。本シンポジウムではこれらのプログラムでナラティブ・エピソードや自由記述を参加者から収集し、質的な分析を行った結果を報告する。)
