After the integration of medical and dental departments of Tohoku University Hospital, we have been able to refer to both medical and dental information. And an electronic medical records system “Time Line”, which can display medical and dental data graphically, is available. These may improve treatments for diseases across medical and dental areas, such as diabetes mellitus and periodontal disease.
