We reported that p-Hydroxyamphetamine (p-OHA), an amphetamine metabolite, induced prepulse inhibition (PPI) disruption of acoustic startle in mice. We also reported that D2, D4, 5HT2 and alpha1 receptor may be involved in the effect of p-OHA on PPI. (覚せい剤代謝物のp-hydroxyamphetamineが音響刺激によるマウスのプレパルス抑制を障害し、その障害にD2, D4, 5HT2及びalpha1受容体が関与することを報告した。)
