Six male and two female subjects lived for 7 d in the isolation chamber. The 24-h urine epinephrine values were slightly higher than normal throughout the experiment. Higher nocturnal norepinephrine excretion correlated with higher sleep motor activity. (男性6名と女性2名が7日間閉鎖チェンバー内に滞在した。実験中、24時間尿中エピネフン排泄量は正常値よりも若干高値で、夜間尿中エピネフリン排泄量と睡眠中の活動量は相関関係にあった。)
