This study examined the effect of head cooling on human sleep stages and body temperature. The subjects slept in an air conditioned chamber under 32 degrees C and relative humidity 80% with or without the use of a cooling pillow. The use of a cooling pillow decrease the whole-body sweat rate during sleep.
