Chinese sluicing has been analyzed by two approaches in the previous studies which is movement and deletion approach and pro approach. Both of the studies have the strong supporting evidence. The two different approaches make us to raise a question whether Chinese sluicing should have both movement and deletion approach and pro approach. In the this presentation we go through three kind of examinations by combining their supporting evidence. If the combination of the data turns out to be ungrammatical, then, the ungrammaticality suggests that the different structures proposed by different approaches are required in Chinese sluicing.
