Cardiac rehabilitation is an integral component of the continuum of care for patients with cardiovascular diseases. The Japanese Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation (JACR) established a certification program for the Master of Cardiac Rehabilitation (MCR) to improve quality of cardiacrehabilitation services and to educate the professionals playing a pivotal role in a primary CVD prevention programs.
