We completed the development of specialized wheelchair PS1 for the Elderly Welfare Facilities in 2015. After the clinical intervention using PS1 at the multiple Elderly Welfare Facilities, we have achieved the lifestyle improvement of the ADL and other by using PS1. However, from the beginning of the development, PS1 is a wheelchair that is improper for the mass production including the height alterations. Structurally, it needs to a significant readjustment. The aim of this paper is to organize the issues that we have found by the clinical intervention of PS1, and to develop modified models of PS1 that can produce enormously. As a result, the issues of modified models of PS1 were resolved. However, the improvement of design will remain as our future studies.
