TWO YEARS INTERVENTION STUDY TO PREVENT REPEATED FALLS AMONG THE JAPANESE ELDERLY

OBJECTIVES: Falls are the key event in the pathogenesis of hip fracture. Hip fractures are associated with a marked decline in functional status following thir occurrence. The purpose of present study was to clarify the factors related falls in the elderly within a two-year period and recurrence of such falls.
