This study evaluated the impact of leisure activities on the Quality of Life (QOL) of 76 older adults with dementia using day care rehabilitation services. Participants were assessed using the Quality of Life in Alzheimer’s Disease (QOL-AD) scale alongside assessments for depression and apathy. The results showed that the group engaging in leisure activities had significantly lower levels of required care, less depression and apathy, and significantly higher QOL scores compared to the non-leisure group. The findings suggest that providing leisure activity opportunities in day care services is highly beneficial for improving QOL in dementia patients.
