TFU Language Teachers' Group (LEG) is an informal group of full- and part-time language teachers at TFU, which is designed to provide support for the group members in their language teaching and opportunities for career development. TFU LEG holds FD sessions once or twice a year annually.
At the 2023 spring TFU LEG FD session, the speaker introduced the TFU TOEIC IP program organized by TFU Career Center and the speaker. The TOEIC IP program costs the test takers less than half the price as the regular TOEIC test does, and TFU Center and the speaker provide opportunities for TOEIC IP tests to the students normally three times a year.
Also, the speaker provided statistical data to explain how many students participated in the past couple of years, the distribution of the test-taking students among the faculties and departments, and the distribution and average of the scores among the students.
The session was mostly designed to promote the program and seek more support from the LEG members. The speaker hopes the participants of the session will encourage their students to take advantage of the opportunities for taking the TOEIC test for a much cheaper cost.
