「The Origin of Early Pottery in Northeast Asia in the context of Environmental Change」

The earliest pottery might have been invented in the moderate climatic Southwestern area of China during the last ice age. In the course of climatic amelioration to the end of the ice age, the pottery makings moved to the east or North East Asia, up to the Amur or Japanese archipelago.
